Hello, new Gonzaga Eagles and families! Here on campus, our students can feel the end of the academic year approaching. We’re now in the fourth quarter for grading. The weather is becoming more favorable. Also, our seniors are enjoying their last two months as students here before they become alumni. I hope your eighth grade son treasures the final months before becoming a high school student. And, I encourage him to finish strongly!

To aid in the preparation for classes next fall, the school has added additional resources below. First, you now may register for 2022-2023 academic courses by clicking on the “Course Selection” tile in the top row.  Additionally, you may register your son for the Freshman Transition Program taking place June 27 to July 22.  I highly encourage the program as it helps a new Eagle feel more confident and at home come the first day of classes on August 25. If you have specific questions regarding course selection or the Freshman Transition Program, contact information for Mr. John Kilroy and Mr. Scott Waller, respectively, is included below. As always, you are welcome to call us here in the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid at 202-336-7101.

Lastly, our wonderful Fathers Club will host the 74th annual Father-Son Communion Breakfast on April 24. As newly minted Eagles, this is the first official event the Class of 2026 is invited to attend. I have wonderful memories attending this event as a student each year with my father many years ago. You can start your own Gonzaga memories by attending on April 24. You should also check the school calendar for other events your son may want to attend: band and choral arts concerts, athletic contests, etc.

Go Eagles, and hail, Gonzaga!
