Coach Chad Carroll attended Gonzaga in 2008 and 2009. He played Division 1 college baseball at James Madison University where he graduated with a degree in economics. Since graduating, Coach Carroll has been coaching baseball and providing hitting and infield instruction full time.
Assistant Coaches
Gage Levac, Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Gage Levac will be returning to Gonzaga for his 6th year coaching. During his tenure with Gonzaga, Coach Levac has held various coaching positions ranging from a JV Assistant Coach to Varsity Pitching Coach. He has also coached with other local baseball academies in the NOVA/DC area since 2014.
As a coach, he is known for his ability to teach the finer points of the game focusing on the aspects of being prepared to the play the game; in addition to his world class fungo skills. He looks forward to continuing to build rapport with an excellent Eagles squad as they work towards their goal in the WCAC.
Patrick Guinan, JV Purple Assistant Coach
Pat is a Graduate of York College of Pennsylvania and moved to D.C. in 2017. He currently works in the city as an Investigator. He has played baseball his entire life but his college career was cut short due to a severe shoulder injury. Pat was a catcher when he played and has a great deal of baseball knowledge. Pat has also coached ice hockey at the collegiate level and coached ice hockey camps for the last seven years.
Nick Impellizerri, JV Purple Assistant Coach
Nick Impellizzeri grew up playing baseball in the Northern Virginia area and went to Herndon High school. He played college baseball at Shepherd University and UVA at Wise. Nick has experience with coaching several Reston Little League teams and coaching his own team with the MVP Royals baseball program.
Ryan McGuire, JV White Head Coach
Coach Ryan McGuire grew up in Vienna, VA playing youth baseball with fellow coaches Chad Carroll and Jack Miossi. Ryan went to Madison high school where he played Baseball, football, wrestling and basketball, he played travel baseball with the Evoshield Canes and then played 4 years of college baseball in Texas and California. Ryan has been coaching sports locally for 3 years and has a younger brother (Andy Mcguire) who played baseball at the University of Texas and now plays professionally in the Toronto blue jays organization.
Prinz Milton, JV Purple Head Coach
Coach Milton brings a plethora of experience as not only a coach but a player as well. He comes from a long lineage of professional baseball experience and was afforded the opportunity to play professionally as well. Coach Milton was drafted into the Atlanta Braves Minor League as a catcher and was later moved to the outfield. He played for six years. This Howard University alumnus continued his expertise after college and went to coach several travel baseball teams. This includes the Mason Monarchs, C5T, D-Bat Elite, and the Rawlings Elite of Northern Virginia.
Kevin Tarpey, JV White Assistant Coach
Kevin is a 2011 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School in the suburbs of Philadelphia. After graduation he attended Penn State University where he received his B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. After Penn State, Kevin attended Cabrini University where he completed his M.A. in Secondary Math Education. He then went back to Bonner where he taught math and coached the Freshman baseball team for two years before moving down to the DMV area this summer and continuing his coaching and teaching career at Gonzaga.
Marcus Thompson, Varsity Assistant Coach
Marcus Thompson is a native to the DMV area. Marcus has been around baseball and played from little league to high school. Having played baseball through high school Marcus began his coaching career shortly after graduating college. Marcus has over 10 years of coaching experience coaching from little league all the way to the high school level. Most recently he helped coach Fredrick Douglass HS (PG) to the State Regionals. He hopes to bring and add his expertise to the Eagles this year for a successful season. Marcus works full time in Student Services at Gonzaga.
Jack Miossi, Varsity Assistant Coach
Jack grew up in Vienna, VA and played baseball alongside Chad Carroll for 8 years. Jack was Gonzaga's starting third baseman for three years (2009-2011). After Gonzaga, Jack attended Georgetown University and served as the head coach of Georgetown's player-run club baseball team his junior and senior year, leading Georgetown to two consecutive NCBA division championships. Jack returned to Gonzaga as the infield coach in 2016 and has served as an assistant coach on numerous Bradley Baseball teams.
