Dominik Pettey Purple White Hockey Game

Gonzaga Ice Hockey kicks off its season every year with the Dominik Pettey Purple White Game, an inter-squad game played in honor of friend and teammate Dominik Pettey ’15, who died in a car accident in 2014.
The event raises money for the Dominik L. Pettey ’15 Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund at Gonzaga. Dominik, whose #11 was retired by Gonzaga hockey after his tragic death, embodied the spirit of Gonzaga, and the fund is one way we keep his legacy strong on Eye Street. All gifts help make a Gonzaga education possible for deserving students.

This year, the Annual Dominik Pettey '15 Memorial Purple White Game will take place on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Fort Dupont Ice Arena. Opening ceremonies will begin at 5 PM with a 5:30 PM puck drop by the Petteys.
