At Gonzaga, the weight room is more than a place to get stronger — it’s a space to grow as a person. It’s a safe place to fail, to struggle, and to build resilience that goes beyond the court, the field, or the pool but in life.
We expertly coach traditional weightlifting, plyometrics and powerlifting movements with purpose — developing student-athletes to become bigger, stronger, and faster versions of themselves. But we don’t care how much weight a young man can lift. What matters is that he gives his best effort, and brings that same energy to support his teammates, classmates, and brothers.
Our program backs every sport on campus, but more than that, it helps shape the young men wearing the jerseys. With consistent training, accountability, and belief, the freshman who walks in as a boy leaves with the strength, discipline, and mindset of a man.
We show up for each other, push each other to be better, and live our creed: Men for Others. In partnership with all aspects of the Gonzaga experience, we strive to create a safe space where each young man can learn how to lead, how to grow, and how to prepare — for sport and for life.
Hail Gonzaga!
