  John Ausema, Head Coach

  Coach Ausema took over as head coach in 2007, after serving as assistant coach from 2004-2006. He was previously head track and cross country coach at a private school in Delaware, and was named New Castle County coach of the year in 1998. Under his direction the team has won six WCAC championships and three straight DCSAA championships. Coach Ausema was named the DC Coach of the Year by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019. Coach Ausema was also named Mid-Atlantic Coach of the year in 2019.
