Indoor Track Sets Meet Record at Ocean Breeze

35 Indoor Track Eagles competed at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival on Wednesday, December 27 in Staten Island, New York. The meet included a number of relay races and the Eagles did especially well in three of them. The day started with the sophomore 4x800 team of Kai Rock '26, Ian Catanzano '26, Luke Hillebrenner '26, and Teddy Fritz '26 won gold in an exciting race, click here to watch it.

The Freshmen 4x400 team of Ozias Tulloch '27, Jackson Dominski '27, Carson Goode '27, and Lincoln Shelton '27 set the meet record and won gold:

And the Varsity 4x200 team of Kainoa Winston '25, Jude McGroarty '24, Myles McLaughlin '24, and Lincoln Fisher '25 won their preliminary heat to earn the second seed in the final, click here to watch it.

In addition to the gold medals from first two relays, Fisher won silver in the Triple Jump with a personal best 44 feet 7 inches and the freshmen relay team mentioned above won gold in the freshmen 4x200. We also took home bronze medals home in the sophomore 4x200 and 4x400. Click here to see complete Gonzaga results. 

Next up, the team will compete in the Liberty Premiere Invitational on Saturday, January 6 at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
