Football Improves to 3-0, Will Face Loyola Next

On Friday, September 8, Gonzaga Football dominated Fordham Prep to the tune of 45-0 in Brooklyn, New York. The game was played at Fordham University, and the Eagles led 38-0 at halftime. Linebacker Kedrick Golston '26 and defensive lineman Carter Meadows '26 led the way on defense and also contributed on special teams. Kicker John Holley '25 made all of his extra points and a season-long 38 yard field goal. And offensively, the team rushed for 339 yards on the night with Cody Hobson '24 finding the end zone twice in the first half. The other first half touchdowns came from Aidan Conrath '24 on an impressive 44 yard run, and Kai Hobson '24 and Kainoa Winston '25 both taking it in from one yard out.  Oscar Moscoso '24 led them team with 77 yards on the ground and scored the final touchdown on the night in the third quarter with a 41 yard scamper.
