Rugby Starts Season Strong, Gains Experience in California

On Saturday, February 25, Rugby officially began its 2023 campaign by defeating Gregory the Great 43-0 on Buchanan Field. As you can see in the video below, the Eagles weathered snowy conditions and played very well to beat a good team in dominating fashion. The following week the Eagles travelled to WyndmoorPennsylvania to defeat LaSalle 62-10.

This week Gonzaga traveled to California for a pair of games. On Thursday, March 10, Gonzaga beat Jesuit Sacramento 24-13 in a hard fought game in very muddy conditions. 

The Eagles are now 3-0 on the year and will face Granite Bay Rugby this Saturday, March 11, in California.
