Indoor Track Competes at Episcopal and Georgetown Prep
Gonzaga Track competed in two separate meets last weekend. On Friday, January 20 a portion of the Eagle roster travelled to Episcopal for the Maroon and Black Relays. On Saturday, January 21 another convocation of Eagles travelled to Georgetown Prep for the Last Track to Philly. Top finishers on Friday included senior Jaylen Penn's gold in the High Jump and senior Richard Scott's silver in The Shot.
Our top finishers on Saturday were the gold medal 55m Shuttle Hurdle relay team of Kainoa Winston '25, John Dearie '24, Lincoln Fisher '25, and Markeith Hogan '23. William Buckley also turned a strong performance in a very competitive 3200 meter race with a personal best.
The team is off this weekend, but will do it all again next weekend as they will be back at Episcopal and Georgetown Prep for two more separate competition days. Click here to see the entire schedule.
