Hockey Beats MSJ, Heads to Chicago

On Monday, January 9, Gonzaga defeated Mount St Joe's 2-1 in MAPHL conference play. Nick Garner '23 had a goal and an assist, Aidan Petretich '23 netted a goal, and Carsten Komorowski '25 added 21 saves in net.  Hockey is now 9-3-2 on the year with a big a trip to the Windy City upcoming. The team will travel to Chicago on Friday, January 13 to participate in the Chicago Showcase where they will play four games over the holiday weekend.

"This trip is a tremendous opportunity for our students to come together and showcase their talents on a stage outside of our league and region," Coach Kyle Sennott said. "I am grateful we have the opportunity to represent Gonzaga in a tournament that celebrates our Jesuit values and promotes healthy competition for our young men."
