Baltimore Sun Publishes Essays by Bernhard Steinki '24 and Billy Dingell '24

The Baltimore Sun has recently featured essays written by two Gonzaga freshmen--Bernhard Steinki '24 and Billy Dingell '24--as part of a series it is doing on youth voices of the pandemic. The series, which is organized by two young journalists, is meant to shed light on how young people are dealing with these uncertain times.

English Teacher Ms. Teresa Jackson encouraged her students to submit entries to The Baltimore Sun, offering them extra credit if they did. Berhard's reflection, called "Finding Good Among the Bad," ran in the paper on September 25; you can read it online here. Billy's essay, called "A Little Help From Our Friends," was published on October 15; you can read it online here.

Congratulations Bernhard and Billy!
