News of Alumni: Kevin Hogan '11 Traded To Washington Redskins

Kevin Hogan '11 was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Washington Redskins on April 6, 2018. Kevin was originally selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round (No. 162 overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. After joining the Browns on Sept. 5, 2016, he appeared in eight games with one start for Cleveland, completing 60-of-101 career passes for 621 yards and four passing touchdowns in addition to rushing 18 times for 176 yards with one rushing touchdown. Kevin compiled 4,762 passing yards and 37 touchdowns in three varsity seasons on Eye Street. He was named the 2010 D.C. Gatorade Player of the Year and earned first team All-Met honors from the Washington Post. He was selected to the U-18 USA National Football Team and helped lead the team to an International Bowl victory in February of 2011. He was also named the Private Schools Player of the Year by the Executive Board of the Fairfax County Football Hall of Fame. Here is a short video that was shown at the awards banquet:

Kevin played in 50 games for Stanford and set school records for offensive yards (10,634), most career wins by a quarterback (36), and most career rushing yards by a quarterback (1,249).
