Hockey Defeats Calvert Hall
In a much anticipated matchup, the Varsity I Eagles defeated the Calvert Hall Cardinals 4-0 on November 29 on home ice at Fort DuPont. Facing early penalty troubles, the Gonzaga defense killed off a two man disadvantage and skated to a 0-0 tie through the first period. In the second period, Will Rosen ’19 found the back of the net twice to put the Eagles out in front. Farrell Dinn ‘20 and Jack Massey ‘19 added to the lead in the third period while Dominik Basse ’19 earned the shutout between the pipes.

With the big win, Coach Slater’s team improves to 4-1-1 overall. The next game is a MAPHL matchup vs O’Connell – Wednesday, December 6, 4:15pm at Fort DuPont.
