Water Polo Beats Loyola Blakefield

Water Polo beat Loyola Blakefield 20-10 on Thursday, October 10 to improve to 15-4 overall on the season.

Last weekend, the team took 3rd place at the 50th Annual Cardinal Cup in Greenwich, CT. After a comeback win against CT Premier (15-14) and a strong performance against Staples (17-8), the team earned admission into the A Bracket to face two of the top teams on the east coast. After an 8-10 loss against Greenwich - the program's best performance against them since 2016 - the team lost to Brunswick for a third place finish.

Yesterday's win over the Dons was led by commanding performances from Thomas Singleton '26 and Joe Mills '26 who had five goals each while Mills added four assists. Jack Singleton '29 had four goals and four assists and goalie Joan Prats '27 made 14 blocks.
