Four Students Serve as Senate Pages
Four Gonzaga students -- Charlie Sagely '23, Copeland Marshall '24, Matthew Clifford '24, and Colin Neary '24 -- worked this summer as U.S. Senate Pages. Dating back to 1829, the Senate Page Program gives high school students the chance to intern with Senators while taking classes.
"I loved being in the building and in the middle of everything each day, starting with our 9 AM meeting at the Parliamentarian Desk and taking classes," says Charlie Sagley. "I also enjoyed connecting with all of the other Pages from around the country -- there were other high school students from as far as Montana and California. My favorite day by far was being chosen to check in all of the Democratic Senators at the Caucus Lunch. It was all a great experience!"
