Terry Kernan '08 and Marshall Marks '14 Join Athletic Department as Assistant Athletic Directors
We officially welcomed Terry Kernan '08 and Marshall Marks '14 to the Athletic Department as Assistant Athletic Directors last week!
Kernan is a full time teacher in the math department. He served as the Head Freshman Basketball Coach from 2012 to 2015 before becoming the Head JV Basketball Coach in 2015. He has also coached on the football staff as a Varsity Assistant in 2013 and 2014, and as the Head Freshman Football Coach from 2015 to 2017. He will serve the Athletic Department in a part-time capacity this year while keeping his current teaching load, and he will transition into the department more fully next school year.
Marks graduated from Xavier University in 2018 with a Sports Management degree with a minor in Business. He then served as an Alumni Service Corps member on Eye Street during the 2018-2019 school year. Over the last two years, he worked for the Washington Football Team in their Marketing Department primarily helping to improve guest experience and enhance the digital ticketing process. His first day back on campus in his new role was October 18, 2021. He is excited to bring his skills and passion for Gonzaga Sports to the department everyday.
