Freshman Avo Reid Qualifies for Junior Olympics in Fencing

Avo Reid ’21 qualified for the US Fencing Junior Olympics to be held in Memphis, Tennessee, in February 2018. He qualified in both Men’s Epee Juniors (20 and under) and Men’s Epee Cadet (17 and under) categories. He finished 3rd (winning Bronze) in the Capitol Division Junior Olympic Qualifiers in Silver Spring, Maryland, the weekend of November 4-5. Additionally, he is scheduled to compete in the North American Cup in Kansas City, Missouri, the weekend of November 11-12.
