300 Wins and Counting: A Milestone for Coach Scott Waller
With back-to-back wins this week over Landon (3-1) on September 2 and Good Counsel (2-1) on September 4, Gonzaga's Varsity Soccer team improved to 2-1 on the season. The victory over Landon marked head Scott Waller's 300th win.
Coach Waller began coaching and teaching on Eye Street in the late 90's under former head coach Don Smith as the head JV coach. In 2005, he took over the varsity program and has since become a fixture on Buchanan Field. His first WCAC Championship was earned in 2006 and his most recent (10th overall) came in 2024.
