Started in the fall of 2006, Gonzaga’s Fencing Club provides a unique opportunity for students to develop greater poise, confidence, and focus through Olympic sport fencing. The club is open to all Gonzaga and Georgetown Visitation students regardless of past fencing experience.
We do compete against other schools, and will post information about those matches as soon as it's available.
Thank you for your interest in fencing at Gonzaga!
Bryan fenced epée at Gonzaga College High School and Xavier University, and currently fences at DC Fencers Club. He was one of the founding captains of Gonzaga's Fencing Club. At Xavier, he served as President of the Fencing Club his sophomore and junior years. In his senior and graduate school years he led practice as team captain and advised the president of the club. He notably led Xavier’s Men’s Epée team to an 8th place finish as their captain, and finished in the top 16 individually in the 2016 Midwestern Conference Championships.
