Hockey Doubles Up Bullis, Ready for Trip to Chicago

On Wednesday, January 12th Gonzaga Hockey defeated Bullis 8-4. This was Gonzaga Hockey’s first game back after roughly a month off. The Eagles are now 4-2-1 overall and 2-0 in MAPHL play.    

Gonzaga led 4-1 after the first period. Bullis would battle back, but would still trail 6-4 with 5:11 remaining in the 3rd period. Gonzaga finished out the last 5 minutes of play strong and finalized a 8-4 victory. 

Jack Teuschl ‘23 led the Eagles with a goal and two assists. Sam Oppel ‘22, Aiden Petretich ‘23, & Josh Tobin ‘24 all logged a goal and an assist. Goalie Carsten Komorowski ‘25 had 21 saves.

Next up, Gonzaga heads to Chicago to partake in the Chicago Elite Classic over MLK weekend. Gonzaga will play 4 games against top talent from across the country.
