Chris Lykes ’17 Back Home to Play at GW

Chris Lykes ’17, a freshman at the University of Miami, has had a great start to his collegiate career, averaging 7 points and 1.6 assists per game off of the bench. The Hurricanes are 8-0 and currently ranked #6 in the nation. In a great article called “This freshman is so good, Canes coach says if he were ‘6-6, he’d be Michael Jordan,’ ” the Miami Herald wrote, “When he comes off the bench, it’s impossible not to notice him, not only because he’s the smallest man on the court, but because he makes such an impact on the pace of the game.” Click here to read the full article.

If you’d like a chance to see Chris play in person, the Miami Hurricanes play at George Washington University on Saturday, December 16 at 12pm. Tickets are still available at the $25 Gonzaga Alumni rate, please call Mr. Chris Monroe, GW Director of Marketing and Sales at (202) 763-4699, by 5pm on Friday, December 15.

Tickets will still be available at the gate for regular price up until game time.

If you can’t make it to GW, the game is airing nationally on CBS at 12pm.

Best of luck to Chris – eagles fly high!
