2026 Fall Sports Schedules Released

The Gonzaga Athletic Department is excited to announce the fall 2026 sports schedules.

Cross Country will open up with the Braddock Relays on Saturday, August 29 in Burke, VA. In September, local competitions will include the Trials of Miles in Leesburg, VA and the 43rd Richard Barnhart Memorial Invitational in Baltimore, MD. On October 3, the team will compete in the McQuaid Invitational at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, NY. On October 17, the Eagles will race in the VA Showcase near Richmond, VA. The WCAC (October 31) and DCSAA (November 7) Championships will be held at Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens. And the Eagles will close the season with national competitions starting with Nike Regionals. To see the full cross country season schedule, please click here.

Gonzaga's 138th season of football will include six games on Eye Street! On Friday, September 4, the Eagles will host the defending DCIAA Champion Coolidge High School. Our other home Friday night opponents will be Eastern (defending DCSAA Champion), Archbishop Carroll, and Malvern Prep (PA). Saturday afternoon games include WCAC matchups versus McNamara and DeMatha. The McNamara game will also be our annual Fall Reunions for the Classes of '81, '86, '91, '96, '01, '06, '11, '16 and '21 on Saturday, October 10. Gonzaga Soccer returns to the pitch to defend its WCAC title with an exciting schedule in 2026! The Eagles will open with a home game against McNamara on Thursday, September 3 at 3:30 PM. The team will travel to Kansas City, Missouri (September 17-18) for the Jesuit Classic to face Regis Jesuit (CO) and Marquette (WI).  After facing Georgetown Day on September 24, the Eagles will play six consecutive conference games before the WCAC playoffs will begin on Tuesday, October 27. After enjoying its best season in program history in 2025, Gonzaga Water Polo looks forward to getting back in the water this fall! This year's season starts on Tuesday, September 8 at McDonogh and then the team will make the annual trip to the Philadelphia area to face Penn Charter and Haverford. The Battle of the Beltways and the Beast of the East tournaments will close out competition in September. October will feature matches at Loyola Blakefield and The Hill with home contests played at Takoma Aquatic Center against Spalding and Landon.
