News of Alumni: Patrick Doolin ’14, Ben Vazirani ’14, and McKay Allen ’14

Patrick Doolin ’14 (l), Ben Vazirani ’14 (c), and McKay Allen ’14 graduated from USMC Officer Candidate School this summer. The mission of Officer Candidates School is to educate and train officer candidates in Marine Corps knowledge and skills within a controlled and challenging environment in order to evaluate and screen individuals for the leadership, moral, mental, and physical qualities required for commissioning as a Marine Corps officer. Upon their college graduations next spring from VMI, Marquette, and UVA, respectively, the three will be commissioned as 2nd LTs in the U.S. Marine Corps.
