Two Current Eagles and Two Alumni Play for USA Rugby
Kieran Downs '24 and Andrew LaFrankie '24 were both selected to play for USA Rugby's under 18 team National Team this summer. The current Eagles both started for the U.S. against Canada in a dramatic game that ended in a 32-32 tie. You can read about the game via Goff Rugby Report by clicking here.
Eye Street Rugby alumni Declan Dolan ‘21 (Penn State) and JP Vinter ‘22 (California-Berkeley University) were also both selected to represent the United States this summer. The two alums played on the under 20 National Team across Europe and Africa. Dolan started for the U.S. while JP filled in as a reserve. The team ended their summer tour with a big win over Hong Kong to take 7th place in the world tournament.
