Band and Orchestra Concert

Robert Sheldon, renown composer  will be visiting Gonzaga to guest conduct "Lone Eagle" during the spring band concert, which is an original composition written by Mr. Sheldon specifically for our Symphonic Winds.  Our band will have the great opportunity to work with Mr. Sheldon as they prepare for the Premier performance of “Lone Eagle”. Working with the composer of any piece is truly a rare opportunity that not too many students experience in their years as young musicians. Mr. Sheldon will impart to our boys the actual interpretation of the music from the composer’s perspective.

Please join us on the 25th of April as our boys will perform “Lone Eagle” for the first time in a public performance setting.  There will be a reception after the concert and you will have the opportunity to speak with Mr. Sheldon directly.
