  • Kyle Sennott, Head V1 Coach

    Coach Kyle Sennott is the Head Coach of the Gonzaga Ice Hockey Varsity team and leads the direction of the Gonzaga Hockey Program. Coach Sennott grew up in Illinois and finished his playing career at Southern Illinois University (ACHA). Coach Kyle spent four seasons coaching teams with the Wilmette Braves (AHAI) and New Trier High School (Scholastic Hockey League). Coach Kyle came to the Arlington, Virginia area in 2019 and has quickly become one of the most influential coaches with various programs and teams at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. 

    Coach Sennott is charismatic, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to understand the needs and personalities of each and every player.
  • Bryan King, Head V2 Coach

    Coach Bryan King enters his fifth season at Gonzaga as part of the Varsity II coaching staff.

    Coach King is a native of Washington DC and finished up his playing career at LaSalle University (ACHA DII), where in his senior season assisted his team to a league championship and represented LaSalle Ice Hockey in the ACHA DII All Star games.

    Immersed in the DC Metropolitan area hockey community Coach King came to Gonzaga from Assistant Coaching in the Fort Dupont Ice Hockey Program

    Coach King is committed to building the game of hockey by assisting in continuing the development of all levels of athletes one season at a time.
  • Amar Lal, Head JV Coach

    Coach Amar Lal is entering his first season as a coach at Gonzaga as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity Team. Coach Lal has recently retired after 37 years in Engineering, Operations and Executive Management in the Aerospace and high technology industries.

    Coach Lal brings a wealth of coaching experience with current experience at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex and previously many years as head coach of both boys and girls travel teams and Union-Endicott High School in Upstate New York.

    He and Nada, his wife of 38 years, have two kids - Mikhael and Kristina both prior hockey players and Georgetown University graduates - and 4 grandchildren - Macsen, Vivien, Kiran and Celine. Coach Lal uses the USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) principles to guide his coaching philosophy.
