Baseball Kicks Off Season, Beats Prep
Baseball kicked off it's season with a wonderful mass held in St. Aloysius Church on Sunday, March 1. The entire program gathered together in fellowship before taking photos in the Carmody Center and distributing gear.

In Game 1, Gonzaga topped Georgetown Prep 9-6 in an exciting game. The game was played on Thursday, March 5 at the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. It was originally scheduled to be played in Bethesda, MD on Tuesday, March 3 but was postponed and relocated due to the rain early in the week. The offense carried the Eagles to victory and was led by Senior Captain Dylan Waits (3 hits, 3 Runs), Matteo Pipia ’28 (2 Hits, 2 Runs, 3 RBI), and Alex De La Cruz ’26 (2 Hits, 1 Run, 1 RBI). Brady Cookson ’26 earned the victory on the mound tossing 3.2 innings, and Jackson Schmidt ’28 came on in the 7th inning to earn the save.
