Wrestling Beats Latin on Senior Night, WCACs Up Next

On Wednesday, February 5, Wrestling defeated Washington Latin, 53-30 on Senior Night in the final home dual match of the season.

It was a great evening on the mat in the Carmody Center as all seniors who competed earned victories. Seniors Colby Fields and Blaise Joubert were injured, but were still honored with the rest of the Class of 2026 wrestlers before the match. Beppe Boglione's win was also his first of the season, and was the win that put the dual out of reach and sealed the victory for the Eagles.

 

The team is carrying the momentum into the WCAC Championships this weekend where Sulc and Ward will look to earn their second conference titles respectively and the team will hope to build on its third place finish from last season. The team enters the competition with two #1 seeds, two #2 seeds, one #3 seed and three #4 seeds.
