Soccer Beats O'Connell and McNamara to Advance to WCAC Championship

Soccer was down 2-0 in the first half of the WCAC Quarterfinal on Tuesday, October 28th against O'Connell. In the first game at the newly dedicated Reyda Stadium, the Eagles stormed back in the second half to defeat the Knights 4-2. "Heading toward the newly named scoreboard and monument for our dear friend Joe Reyda '85 sparked us in the second half," said head coach Scott Waller. "I was very proud of how the boys played for each other to come back and earn the win." Jahi Stockton '27 scored in the first minute of 2nd half and Isaac Fordjour '26 tied it up ten minutes later. Christian Borno '26 found the net in the 65th minute and Fordjour added the final tally two minutes later. Enjoy the game highlights below:



On Thursday, October 30th the Eagles defeated McNamara 5-0 after jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the first half. Goals were scored by Borno, Cyrus Welch '26, Felipe Moscoso '26, Alessandro Rozo '27, and Clive Gay '27. The shutout was earned by goalie Callahan Smith '27 who made seven saves on the day.
