Basketball Kicks Off Season in Atlanta
Gonzaga Basketball kicked off its 2022 season on Friday, November 25th with a team trip to Atlanta, Georgia to participate in the Atlanta Hoopsgiving Basketball Showcase. Gonzaga went 2-0 in the showcase, defeating Pebblebrook (GA) 72-63 and Etowah (GA) 79-50.
"I really loved how we shared the ball this past weekend," Coach Turner said. "We have a chance for success when we play the game the right way. We really got after it defensively against two very good teams, and that has to be a staple for us this season."

We asked Coach Turner what we should expect for the rest of the season. "We are a young team that I feel like will grow together as the season goes along. We are taking on a tough non-conference schedule early to get ourselves prepared for the best conference in the country: The WCAC. As always, we have one goal and that is to win the WCAC Championship."
