News of Alumni: Paul Campion '15
Paul Campion ‘15 is one of five climate activists who are taking part in a hunger strike outside the White House. Part of an organization called the Sunrise Movement, the group began the strike on October 20, and are demanding that the Biden administration and congressional Democrats deliver on the climate-related legislation currently before Congress.
A native of Silver Spring, Campion attended Loyola University Chicago after graduating from Gonzaga, and studied environmental science. In an interview with the
National Catholic Reporter, he discussed how his Catholic faith plays a role in his activism. “Ignatian spirituality and my Catholic faith are at the core of who I am, my values and how I live my life.”
