26th Purple Puck in Full Swing

The 26th Annual Purple Puck, also known as the National Capital Hockey Tournment, began on Wednesday, December 26 with the V2 Eagles competing in "Varsity Division" play. V2 defeated Spalding 7-3 and O'Connell 7-1 on the first day of competition, and beat Langley 6-1 yesterday to advance to today's championship game vs St. Joe's Prep (NJ) at 4 PM.        

"Prep Division" play begins today with the V1 Eagles playing in their first game vs Loyola Academy (IL) at 10:30 AM.  Games 2 and 3 of group play are on Saturday, December 29 vs St. John's (DC) at 10 AM and vs Hun School (NJ) at 8 PM. 

Here are the Prep Division teams competing in the final three days of the tournament:
