Water Polo's Duffey '24 Named Academic All-American
Congratulations to Connor Duffey '24 who was named a USA Water Polo Academic All-American.
"I am thrilled that Connor's hard work in and outside of the pool has been honored by USA Water Polo," said Head Coach Dominick Pugliese '08. "To me, this achievement represents the Jesuit ideal of cura personalis and the water polo ideal of excelling in multiple ways simultaneously. Connor's work ethic, love for the game, and willingness to push himself is an inspiration to the entire team!"
Water Polo is 1-0 on the year after defeating McDonough last Thursday 20-7. Gonzaga will compete in the Battle of the Beltways at the United States Navel Academy this weekend September 8th-10th. You can find the entire schedule here.
