13 Eagles Selected to Spring All-Met Teams, Hanagan '08 Named Coach of the Year
The Washington Post published its Spring All-Mets list last week, and recognized head golf coach Michael Hanagan '08 as Coach of the Year and 13 Gonzaga student-athletes for their outstanding play over the spring season. Congratulations to Coach Hanagan and the following Eagles! Crew
1st Team: Ben Cruley ’25
"Cruley was the guiding voice for the Eagles’ top varsity eight boat, which won at states for the third consecutive year and placed fifth at the scholastic national championships." -Washington Post
1st Team: Andres Krizan-Luque '25
"Krizan-Luque’s solid contributions from the sixth seat propelled Gonzaga to another season atop the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Rowing Association." -Washington Post

Golf Coach of the Year: Michael Hanagan ’08
"Hanagan has overseen one of the most consistent and successful stretches by a local golf program in recent history. This year the Eagles won the team titles at both the WCAC and DCSAA tournaments — the program’s ninth and second straight championships, respectively. Under Hanagan’s leadership, Gonzaga has a 100-3-2 record in regular season matches and 14 postseason tournament wins." -Washington Post
"Lopes made big strides in his second year with the Eagles, earning first-team WCAC honors while going undefeated in match play and finishing second individually at the DCSAA championships." -Washington Post
