News Of Alumni: Jim Scott ’66

Jim Scott ’66 was honored at the Saint Vincent College Alumni of Distinction Dinner on September 29. The evening’s program noted that Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Saint Vincent in 1970 and also did graduate study in government public relations at American University.
 
After college, Jim served in the US Naval Reserve at Annapolis until 1973. He later served as public affairs specialist for the U.S. Army Northeast Region Recruiting Command in Ft. Meade, Maryland, and Deputy Public Affairs Officer for the Naval Ship Research Development Center in Annapolis. He retired in 2007 as Director of Congressional and Public Affairs at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
