Soccer Beats Ryken, Faces Heights in Huge WCAC Match
The varsity soccer Eagles defeated St. Mary's Ryken 5-0 on Tuesday, October 2 under the lights in Leonardtown, MD. Gonzaga initially struggled to put the ball in the net, but once the first goal went in, more scoring unfolded. Junior Ryan Elie tallied a goal and two assists, and Juniors Kento Salgado-Nakamura and Max Ludwikowski scored their first-ever varsity goals.
On Friday, October 5 the Eagles take on The Heights in a battle for first place in the WCAC.
