Mrs. Kelley and Mr. Zombek, S.J. Hike the Camino de Ignaciano

Over the summer, Physics Teacher Mrs. Marilynn Kelley and Math Teacher Mr. Christian Zombek, S.J., took part in a pilgrimage along the Camino de Ignaciano with 17 teachers from other US and Canadian Jesuit schools.

The pilgrims traveled by foot along the Camino from Loyola, Spain, to Barcelona, in the footsteps of Saint Ignatius. Mr. Zombek, a second year Regent in the Society of Jesus, served the pilgrims as a spiritual leader. Mrs. Kelley described the pilgrimage as “a spiritual journey that intensified my calling as a Jesuit educator and more deeply connected me as a companion of the Jesuits.”
