Attention parents: In order for your son to participate in sports during the school year at Gonzaga he must have a complete health record on file with the school. More information will be available soon about how to complete this by logging into Gonzaga’s website and clicking on the Magnus Health link. If your son has an interest in trying out please feel free to contact Coach Turner by email. Try-outs for the summer team will begin in early May. The team will play in a JV league at McNamara HS from late May to early July. Your son should also consider attending one of the summer basketball camps to have an opportunity to be seen and work with coaches from the basketball staff. Please click here.
If your son is interested in trying out for basketball in the winter please have him stop by the Basketball office in the Carmody Center and see Coach Turner at the start of the school year. There will be an opportunity in the fall to join us with workouts in the weightroom, skill work on the court, along with playing pick up in open gym.
Information for Freshmen: Gonzaga's Rowing program will hold a five-day Learn-To-Row (LTR) Camp in July 9 AM-Noon, Anacostia Community Boathouse, (ACBA) that is open to all incoming freshmen. Click here for more information about the Learn to Row camp and look for online registration coming soon.
Fall Freshman Rowing, after school will begin after Labor Day. A time and place for a Freshman/Novice Information Meeting will be announced the first week of school.

New students are welcome to join the cross country team. There are no tryouts, but athletes need to be willing to come to practice every day and demonstrate a good work ethic. Optional summer training runs are available on summer evenings and weekends. Additional information about the cross country team, including details about summer training, can be found here.
Freshman and Sophomore Rugby: early February No cuts for Freshmen - all Freshmen, experienced and no experience welcome.

Practices are from 3:45pm to 5pm, Monday through Thursday during the season at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD. There is a bus to practice and to the Metro after practice.
The team is composed of all skill levels and no-cut.
