The Eye Street College Admissions Case Study Program and College Fair (for Juniors and their parents)

Gonzaga's College Counseling Office (CCO) is excited to offer a special program for Junior families: an admissions case study exercise and College Fair.

On the evening of February 20, 40 College Admissions Representatives will be invited to Gonzaga.  Juniors and their parents will be assigned to a classroom with an Admission Representative. The admission professional will preside as the head of an "Admission Committee" with parents and students serving on the committee. The committee will be presented with four college applications and have to make admission decisions based on the parameters that are put forth. The purpose of this exercise is to provide insight into the college admissions process and show how subjective it can be.

The case study exercise will conclude with a College Fair in the Carmody Center and a tally of the admission decisions made by each classroom.

Schedule for the evening:
7:00pm - 8:15pm - Case Study
8:15pm - 9:15pm - College Fair
