    Please be our guest as prospective students and their families are welcome to join us on campus for an evening information session.  We will have an active program to share a window into students' every-day life at Gonzaga, including and beyond the classroom.

  • GMC Faculty Treats

    Faculty Treats is always highly anticipated by the hard-working Gonzaga faculty and staff! One morning each month, GMC volunteers prepare a delicious home-cooked breakfast for the faculty, staff, coaches, maintenance staff, Jesuit community, and administration to show our gratitude for all they do for our sons.

    It’s always fun and volunteers are always needed! 

    To assist with breakfast, please arrive by 6:30am in the Lower Commons.  Breakfast begins at 7:15 am.  After serving the Gonzaga faculty and staff, GMC volunteers share breakfast and clean up --everything completed before 9:00 am!

  • GMC Mass of Thanksgiving and Reception

    St. Aloysius Church & Arrupe Commons
    Held each year in November, the Mass of Thanksgiving is jointly hosted by the GMC and Eagles' Wings, Gonzaga’s club for parents of alumni. Everyone in the Gonzaga community—students, parents, alumni, faculty, and Gonzaga well-wishers —are invited to share a celebration of the Mass at 10:00AM followed by  a breakfast reception.

    Mass will include a special collection for the McKenna Center. 

    GMC and Eagles' Wings volunteers are needed to serve as readers, ushers and Eucharistic ministers at the Mass and set up and serve the breakfast. Please contact the event organizer at thanksgiving@gonzagamothers.org.

  • Alumni Association Meeting

    Dooley Hall - Arrupe Commons - -
    Alumni Association meetings give Gonzaga alumni the chance to hear up-to-the-minute information about what's going on at Gonzaga, from club activities to sporting events, and all Alumni Association events. We begin with fellowship and dinner at 6:00 pm and at 6:30 pm the meeting is called to order. Meetings typically last an hour and a half depending upon attendance and agenda items to be discussed. The meetings are open to all alumni of Gonzaga.

    The Gonzaga Mothers Club is open to all mothers and guardians of Gonzaga students, and those friends and benefactors of the school who wish to participate in or contribute to the Mothers Club activities.  

    The GMC meets on the second Wednesday of the month in the Lower Commons. All are welcome! The social begins at 6:30 pm, and the meeting begins at 7:00 pm.

  • Dominik Pettey '15 Memorial Purple White Game

    Medstar Capitals Iceplex, 627 N Glebe Rd SUITE 800, Arlington, VA
    Gonzaga Ice Hockey kicks off its season every year with the Dominik Pettey Purple White Game, an inter-squad game played in honor of friend and teammate Dominik Pettey ’15, who died in a car accident in 2014.

    The Dominik L. Pettey ’15 Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund helps make a Gonzaga education possible for deserving students, and was established to perpetuate the memory of Dominik, who embodied the spirit of Gonzaga.

    More details on the game and our annual drive to support the scholarship fund in Dom's name will be made available soon.

  • GMC Monthly Rosary (For the Gonzaga Community)

    Each month, the GMC meets to pray the rosary for the intentions of the Gonzaga community. 
     
    The rosary is a scripture-based prayer meditating on events in the life of Christ and his mother. No prior experience is necessary, and all mothers and guardians are welcome to join in this gentle, restful, and contemplative prayer.

    On November 19th Gonzaga will host its Open House for prospective families to visit the school and learn from members of the admissions office, faculty, current parents and students, alumni, and coaches. During the Open House, you’ll get the chance to:
    • Meet our teachers, administrators, and students
    • Speak informally with administration, program directors, and staff
    • Discuss the benefits of a Jesuit education and all-boys school
    • Review the application process
    • Learn about the financial aid process

    The Onyx Alumni Association of Gonzaga College High School is a division of the Gonzaga Alumni Association which is dedicated to supporting and promoting diversity at Gonzaga College High School and within its community, seeks to broaden and strengthen the connections of Alumni.  Those connection serve to support current, prospective and future minorities who are committed to successfully matriculating and graduating from Gonzaga.

The Smoker is a reunion for all alumni, Gonzaga fathers past and present, faculty and staff, and friends of the school -- bringing them together to kick off the holiday season.

    Lee Kelly Thanksgiving Touch Rugby Tournament

    Come out and enjoy a morning of rugby on Eye Street at the 20th edition of this annual Thanksgiving touch tournament.  

    Please join us in honoring and celebrating Lee Kelly's life by playing the sport he loved so deeply and that brings us all together year after year.  Lee was a beloved coach, friend and mentor to so many in the Gonzaga community and was instrumental in bringing alums back to Gonzaga each year for this celebration of friendship and rugby. 

    The format (depending on amount of teams) will look something like this:
    • Round Robin/Pool Play Tournament
    • Comprised of 7-10 player teams
    • 7 vs 7, 7 minute halves, ROLLING SUBS.
    • Semi Finals and Finals to follow pool play
    • We will make sure to guarantee each team 2-3 games (again, depending on overall participation)
    • And to make things more interesting: Enter your own team! Take charge and call up your classmates and put your squad together.
    • If you don't feel like putting a team together, no worries- show up on Thanksgiving Friday and we will assemble teams of free agents or assign you to a pre-formed team.

    On Monday, November 27th, Lieutenant General Nadja West will speak to Gonzaga parents as part of our Parent Speaker Series.  She will discuss balancing a high performing career while being a Gonzaga mom.  Lieutenant General West’s son, Logan, graduated from Gonzaga in 2015. She is extremely excited to be back on Eye Street talking to you all!

    Lieutenant General West is a retired United States Army Lieutenant General and the 44th Surgeon General of the United States Army. She is the highest ranking woman to have graduated from the United States Military Academy.
