  • Eagles for Water Bake Sale

    Dooley Hall - Lower Commons - -
    Gonzaga clubs and teams hold bake sales in order to raise money for their groups. Bake sale are usually up and running by 7:30 am and continue until the end of the lunch periods.  If you are contributing to a bake sale you do not need to send in homemade items, you can purchase your baked goods at any store.

    All current and past parents are welcome for this special event. Have you wondered about Ignatian spirituality - the spiritual tradition that is shaping our sons? Are you interested in how you’d apply it to your own life? Are you curious to know more about St. Ignatius and the Jesuits? Then please plan to join us on May 4th in the Lower Commons. 

    We’ll begin with refreshments and social time at 6:30, followed at 7:00 pm for a talk by Fr. Lingan and time for Q&A. Please RSVP HERE so we can plan for food and drinks.

    Dooley Hall - Lower Commons - -
    Faculty Treats is always highly anticipated by the hard-working Gonzaga faculty and staff! One morning each month, GMC volunteers prepare a delicious home-cooked breakfast for the faculty, staff, coaches, maintenance staff, Jesuit community, and administration to thank them for all they do for our boys. Each month has a different theme, but our goal is always the same: To provide a festive repast for our hardworking staff. 

    It’s always a blast and volunteers are always needed! 

    Please arrive by 6:15 am in the Lower Commons. Service begins at 7:00 am and everything is done and clean up by 9:00 am.

  • Kristensen Klassic Golf Tournament

    Kenwood Golf and Country Club, 5601 River Rd, Bethesda, MD
    Held every spring, the Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic is a golf tournament that celebrates the life of United States Navy SEAL Erik Kristensen ’90, and raises funds for the memorial scholarship fund that bears his name and benefits Gonzaga students from military families. This year the Klassic will take place at Kenwood Golf and Country Club and will be followed by an awards dinner.

    The second annual Visual Arts Exhibition will feature artworks from over 75 Gonzaga students. Medias include: drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, and photography. The winners of the Spirit of Gonzaga Photography Competition will also be revealed and on display.

  • College Counseling - "Letting Go"

    Virtual
    Letting Go: The College Transition is scheduled for Thursday, May 11th at 6:30 PM.  This is a virtual program for senior parents and it will be recorded.

    Parents will hear from a college Residential Life expert about all of the resources that are available on a college campus to assist in the transition to college. The speaker will be followed by a parent panel who will share firsthand experiences about the process of setting expectations and boundaries with their college freshman.

  • GMC Ignatian Reflection & Prayer Group

    Virtual
    The Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group consists of Gonzaga moms and female guardians who gather monthly via Zoom to explore the Ignatian spirituality at the heart of their sons’ education, and reflect on how to put it into practice in their own lives.

    They seek to deepen their faith by reading and discussing relevant essays and books and participating in guided reflections combined with a variety of Ignatian forms of prayer.

    All are welcome to join our casual and welcoming group!

    We are looking forward to welcoming back the Classes of 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963 and 1968 for their Golden Reunions on Saturday, May 13, 2023!

    The reunion will begin with Mass in Our Lady's Chapel celebrated by Gonzaga President Rev. Joseph E. Lingan, S.J. '75, followed by cocktails and dinner in the Aruppe Commons in Gonzaga's Dooley Hall.
