Gonzaga is represented on the rugby field by three teams - Varsity Purple, Varsity Black (developmental varsity team), and Freshman/Sophomore teams. Gonzaga Rugby's season begins in February and runs through May.

 

Varsity Purple has been one of the most successful rugby teams in the country over the last ten years, winning four National Championships (2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018) and making the final four of the national championship for 13 straight years.
 
The 2022-23 Eagles look forward to once again playing one of the toughest nationally competitive schedules in the country, with games planned against nine pre-season nationally ranked Top 25 teams, including both the Single School and Club divisions 2022 National Champions, and a tour to the SouthWest of France.  We look forward to a great season of competition in the Spring of 2023 and hope to see you at our games.  Go Eagles!!
