Students Attend Live Taping of Good Morning America

On Tuesday, September 18, ten WZAG students attended a live production of Good Morning America, where they had the chance to see and participate in the world premiere of the trailer for the latest Marvel movie, Captain Marvel.

Gonzaga students met Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson as she unveiled Captain Marvel's first trailer. The students also got to see production crane cameras in operation and learned how a live production like GMA works. "It was cool to actually see how it's all done," junior Jack Martino said. "I appreciate live TV a little more now."

On the other hand, senior Ryan Vigilante as well as chaperone and noted Marvel fanatic Mr. Cardozo were more focused on getting a chance to see a superhero in person. "The trailer was incredible," Ryan said.  "I'm so hyped for the movie, and I can't believe Brie Larson laughed at my joke!"

Junior Danny Diaz, who has seen every Marvel movie, said he plans to see the film on day one. The students also received T-shirts from GMA to commemorate their trip.
