Service Trip to Kansas City—Enjoy the Photos!

Earlier this summer, 12 students traveled to Kansas City, Missouri, for a service trip to Jerusalem Farm, an intentional Catholic community that works to combat urban poverty in Kansas City. During the trip, students lived in community on an urban farm, where they had the chance to learn about composting and farming, and also delivered food to neighbors. They had lots of conversations about environmental justice and learned about Laudato Si, Pope Francis's encyclical on the Care for God’s Creation. The group also enjoyed touring the city, taste-testing Kansas City barbeque! We hope you enjoy these great pictures from their trip.
