Four Seniors Named Winners in the Parkmont Poetry Festival

For more than 35 years, the Parkmont School in D.C.’s 16th Street Heights neighborhood has been celebrating the creative talents of the District of Columbia’s middle and high school students by sponsoring the annual Parkmont Poetry Festival.

This year, 492 students from public, private, and charter schools throughout the District entered the competition, and 20 students—including four Gonzaga seniors!—were named winners. Congratulations to:

Congratulations also to seniors Zachary Graham and Luca Militello, who were named finalists in the competition.

In addition to receiving a small cash prize, the students’ poems were published in a book by the Parkmont School.
Congratulations to all!
