News of Alumni: Tucker Cawley ‘86
Netflix recently announced that it will air eight episodes of Merry Happy Whatever, a holiday-themed multi-camera comedy series written by Gonzaga alumnus Tucker Cawley ’86 and starring actor Dennis Quaid.
Tucker serves as showrunner and executive producer of Merry Happy Whatever along with Quaid, Pam Fryman, Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, and Wendi Trilling.
Tucker has written for and produced several other well-known series including Everybody Loves Raymond, Parks and Recreation, and the Odd Couple. His work for Everybody Loves Raymond earned him three Emmys, including the 2003 Emmy for best writing for a comedy.
