    Charter Day - No Online Classes

    Another fine Gonzaga tradition is to gather at the end of each year in an honors assembly, not only to recognize the great things that our students and faculty have accomplished this year, but also to celebrate the anniversary of the Charter which gave legal identity to our school. We fully intend to honor the students this year as their successes in and out of the classroom have continued despite current disruptions. Stay tuned for a “Virtual” Charter Day celebration coming your way!

  • Annual Charter Day Award Celebration

    We invite you to join us virtually for our annual Charter Day Celebration this Friday, May 8 at 1 PM. Held every May in St. Aloysius Church, Charter Day is a special day for our students and faculty, when we commemorate our school’s history and honor the many accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff.

    Although we cannot come together in person this year, we are excited to be able to stream a program that will include student awards, faculty tributes, and more.  This year, six Gonzaga greats are retiring, two faculty members are celebrating 20 years of service to Gonzaga, and one is celebrating an amazing 50 years on Eye Street. We are sure that they--and all of Gonzaga’s faculty and students--would enjoy your support.

    Postponed - Athletic Hall of Fame

    Sheehy Theater & Arrupe Commons
    The Joe Kozik Athletic Hall of Fame highlights the central role athletic competition plays in the lives of our students and our school community—sportsmanship, teamwork, grit, and discipline are just some of the things that the young men of Eye Street learn and experience through sports.

    Every year, the Gonzaga Hall of Fame Selection Committee takes nominations from the school community and selects a new class of inductees, who are honored at a ceremony and reception on campus. Our goal is to celebrate those who have contributed significantly to the program's growth and spirit, and who continue to reflect Ignatian values such as integrity, perseverance, and humility.

  • Postponed: The Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic

    The Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic is a golf tournament that celebrates the life of United States Navy SEAL Erik Kristensen ’90, and raises funds for a scholarship that benefits Gonzaga students from needy military families.

    The Klassic has been postponed until September 28, 2020 and will be held at Kenwood Golf & Country Club in Bethesda.  Please go to www.kristensenklassic.com for more details.

  • Virtual Alumni Association Meeting

    We invite all alumni to join us this Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 PM for a virtual Gonzaga Alumni Association Meeting. 

    The agenda will include remarks from GAA President Matt Grace '01, Gonzaga President Fr. Stephen Planning, S.J., and Headmaster Tom Every. Vice President of Alumni and Advancement David Dugan '98 will also present the 2020 Fr. Novotny Service Award to Mr. Ned Cotter '58 and the 2020 Alumni Man of the Year Award to Dr. Norman Duffy '56.
