Track & Field Finishes 2nd at DCSAA Championship

For the second straight year, Track & Field finished in second place at the DCSAA Championship. This year, it was a very competitive meet with the final result hinging on the final races and field events. St. John's won with 141 points, while Gonzaga (100) edged St. Alban's (99) and McKinley Tech (94) for the silver trophy. "This was a great way to finish the year on the track and in the field," says Head Coach Conrad Singh '00. "We've grown in many ways this Spring, and today came down to the wire with contributions coming from every Eagle in the program. I couldn't be prouder of the guys and the way they stayed together to achieve a strong finish."

Gonzaga's gold medal results included the 4x200 (1:29.13, State Record), John Dearie '24 in the 110 meter hurdles (14.93), and Dearie in the 300 meter hurdles (39.24, State Record). Watch the three races below:
