Track Breaks Two School Records, Wins Wheel at Penn Relays

Since returning from Spring Break, during which the team competed at the Florida Relays at the University of Florida and the Wildcat Invitational in Georgia, Gonzaga's Track team has competed in five competitions. Under second year head coach Conrad Singh '00, the team broke two school records and won a 4x400 section to capture a prestigious Penn Relays Wheel.

At the Bullis Bulldog Invitational on April 15, the 4x100 team of Deuce Lee '23, Brendan Lee '23, Lincoln Fisher '25, and Kainoa Winston '25 broke the school record with a time of 42.78. Just five days later on April 20 at the John's Hopkins High School Invitational, the same group broke the 4x200 school record and set a new meet record with a time of 1:28.34. On April 27, the 4x400 team of Calvin Timm '25, Michael Scott '23, Fisher, and Jude McGroarty '24 ran a season best 3:24.89 to win their section at the Penn Relays. Additionally, Gonzaga qualified to compete in the 4x100 and was represented by Lee, Lee, Markeith Hogan '23, and Winston. Click here for the results from the two races.
