Swim & Dive Finishes Season Strong

The Swim & Dive Eagles concluded the 2022-2023 season with a second place finish in the Metro Championships and first place in the DCSAA Championship!

In the Metro Championships, Gonzaga finished 50 points behind Churchill. The 400 Free Relay team of Malcolm McKenzie '24, Jack Moloney '23, Palmer Bice '25, and Aiden Bond '23 swam 3:02.85 to break the Metros record. You can watch the race here: 



Also at Metros, the 200 Free Relay of Lucas Zidlicky '23, Jack Moloney '23, Palmer Bice '25, and Aiden Bond '23 finished in 1:24.10, swimming the fastest high school time in the country this year:



The DCSAA Championship took place on Wednesday, February 15 at the Wilson Aquatics Center. The Eagles finished 51 points in front of second place St. Alban's to bring the title back to Eye Street.

It was a strong end to what has been a great season, with Gonzaga Swim & Dive winning three championships (WCAC, WMPSSDL, and DCSAA) as well as capturing second place in Metros.
